Oh my goodness gracious. GUILT entirely in bold and italics and capital letters first and foremost, he tried, Erica, he tried so hard to find you and he was a week too late. It eats away at him. But, like, he couldn't not tell you, it wasn't fair. It's not his choice how you get to react to that news, and you can't react without knowing. So he doesn't regret telling her, not at all, he just regrets the actions that put her there in the first place.

Under that, though, he turned her because he saw what a fierce lady she could be, and he doesn't regret that either. Erica reminds him of his sisters and his mother, the badass lady wolves in his life who didn't take shit from anyone. He's proud to call her his beta, and adores the ever loving crap out of her.

He doesn't know how to feel about her not rejecting him, and is waiting for her to realize she needs to. He can't be the Alpha she needs, and that isn't fair to her at all.
