So there were unexpected trips and grad school applications and things of that nature which sadly prevented me from doing this earlier in the week, but YES HELLO I am Ireny (otherwise known as Temeraire-mun) and I am (finally) bringing in Lin Beifong from The Legend of Korra! She's a grumpy tough-as-nails ex-cop who doesn't have time to put up with your crap, even if you are the Avatar. Except she's coming from after the first season, so she can put up with a little more crap from the Avatar than she could before. And she can metalbend! That's a thing.

Also, her mom is here. Her mom is here and like twelve years old. a w k w a r d

So I've talked it over with the ATLA and LoK cast and Lin is going to be hiding her last name for the time being, mostly to (temporarily) save Toph the trauma of "oh by the way your daughter is here and she's forty years older than you." But if you want to have your character figure it out at some point I am totally cool with that as well. :D

Preemptive Hiatus

Putting this up now, just in case last-minute plans require my attention from now until Monday.

Those of you on my plurk know the adventures in trying to get myself to Hong Kong this summer.  Well, at the 10th hour, things came through, and I am Asia-bound in five days, where I will be spending two whole weeks re-meeting in-laws and dying under the torturous heat and humidity.  I can't wait!

Thus, from July 8th until July 22nd (tentatively), Zatanna (this account, obv) and Midii (unetrustworthy) will basically be on autopilot.  Midii will most likely be locked in her room, researching through as much of the Network backlog as she can to learn all the things about what's going on.  Zatanna will be around, with special godmod rights going to Zee  (haha), and basically anyone else of extremely close CR who wants.   You know who you are.

I'll still be backlogging right up until Sunday night.  Monday morning, if I get wifi at the airport and get bored waiting for the flight.  But I probably won't be tagging into many new things from now until then so as not to kill my poor inbox while I'm away.  If you need one of the two girls for something, we'll talk, otherwise...no more.  X.x
