Hello! My name's Box, and I'm totally new here! It's really nice to meet you guys, and I'm really excited about this game.

I'm here bringing you Maxwell Lord. If you read DC Comics, you might remember him from some classic villainy such as That Time He Shot Blue Beetle In The Head and Getting Justifiably Killed Means The World Hates Wonder Woman Because That's How That Works. Good times. Unfortunately for such... uh, horribleness and tragedy, this Max is from way before then. Like, more used car salesman than megalomaniac. Also, lacks a cyborg army. He just has one. His name's L-Ron. They're kinda robomarried.

Anyway, if you'd like to plot with me or just chatter, you can find me at likeabox on plurk or bardwithnoname on AIM. An IC intro'll probably go up today or tomorrow!

So Amaterasu has managed to negotiate with the Commander about lessening the rationing by growing enough crops for everyone. However, this is a pretty bold statement, even for her (and with the coming de-powering event, a seriously difficult undertaking), so she wants YOU!

I'll be making an IC post within the week about this for characters who are interested, but this is for players who want in! This is mostly a volunteer effort, so Amaterasu will not be paying anyone unless you want a lot of cuddles and probably some favors done by a god in the future. Or just cuddles. Duties are basically planting seeds (maybe), harvesting and keeping an eye on her crops because she is the most scatterbrained god ever and she will definitely forget to maintain some things. Also waking her up if she takes really long naps and something is dying, oops. If your character cant volunteer for whatever reason but you'd still like to help, drop me a line and we can get to an understanding!

Big macho men who can farm are welcome, but ladies are very much encouraged to join in.

Hiatus

Hey gang. I know I've been next to incommunicado the last few weeks and for that I apologize. I've had some super rough times in my life right now due to a work injury and have had to retain a lawyer. That added to general 'oh, god, can we make rent this month' kinda concerns have pretty much become my life and I've admitted to myself that I'm severely depressed.

I'll likely be gone at least a month, but right now can't say if it will be longer or not. Consider Talia M.I.A. as of now and I'll figure something out when I come back. Again, I'm sorry. I never meant to up and disappear, but things are gradually going from bad to worse and I need to make sure my life doesn't fall any more apart. I love you guys and can't thank you enough for your support.
