hello hello, turtlefolk! my name is hallie and i have been here before! but now i am back and with me is this lovely lady, rogue from that one marvel universe where everything sucks!!

her real name is marian but she always goes by rogue, when she touches people they die because being a mutant is suffering, and she currently has super strength because of see point #2! in case you didn't check out of marvel 1610 after ultimatum (but no really why didn't you), she's coming in from the most recent issues of ultimate comics x-men because i love brian wood.

um other relevant stuff... she's living in a three floor apartment in wood so neighbors should come say hi, she's arriving without much way of covering her skin because i am a jerk, and will probably be hiding in her apartment for a bit!! i'll be introing her shortly (has landfall happened, yet?) and if you need to reach me you can hit me up through this journal or ottomans@plurk (though the latter i keep mostly private).

Two questions!

1. Do the water people Nita's trying to cat(fish)herd want a log for the meeting? I'd probably summarize the conclusions they came to in the top post and the threads could be mingling? idk, it's hard to run an actual meeting in RP format. Suggestions welcome.

2. Do the tech/magic types she's trying to recruit to work on the ecological problems want a log? It could be a catchall for the various activities involved.

I know landfall's going to be taking up a lot of people's time, so there's always handwaving, but if your dudes are staying on the turtle much or all of the time (/coughBannercough), it could be something to do. Also, if you're not a tech/magic type, they'll probably be needing gofers for soil samples and so forth.

So, after consultation with the mods, I've confirmed that Sabriel's ability to baptise others with Charter marks isn't nerfed! (Although some restrictions apply)

What does this mean?

Well, it means that one of Sabriel's magical powers is well- giving other people magical powers, and as the Kedan get more hostile, she's decided that hey, if people need a way to defend themselves, well, why not teach them magic?

However, there are some restrictions. Sabriel will only teach up to ten people, and only characters who don't already have some kind of magical ability. Also, I'd like to avoid having one or two casts monopolize all the slots.

I have the basics of an info post set up here.

This post is to gauge interest/potential reactions/hear suggestions. I am always up for Sabriel getting some negative CR if your character isn't a fan of magic!

Hello~ I'm Kelly, I'm new to this game and horribly nervous ahaha, and I'm bringing with me Éponine from Les Miserables! She's one of those girls who's a bit rough around the edges, and she's pretty tough, so pushing her around won't affect her too much.

She's from just after her death at the barricades, which might make things interesting and confusing for her. I'll probably put up an open log if anyone's interested in that, and her first network post will occur later on.
