Hey guys~

I'm your resident Megamind and Kara Thrace player here with my third and final character: Stephanie Plum. She's from a series of novels written by Janet Evanovich and starts with a book called One for the Money. She's a bumbling bounty hunter from Trenton, NJ that took the job when she was laid off from her previous position as a lingerie buyer and she hit an all time low. Pushed by Mommy dearest to ask her cousin Vinny about a job as a file clerk, she sort of fell into the bounty hunting business and really isn't that great at it.

Anyway, I'm excited to be here with Stephanie, and hopefully she'll fit right in!

If you want to add me on plurk, I'm [plurk.com profile] travelistaa on plurk and on aim if you want to contact me! I'll also respond to journal pings <33

we're also gonna pretend the movie doesn't really exist :|

Holla, Shellonauts! Roy aquí. o/

Remember when I apped a chaos goddess and then left on a journey into the frozen north for work? Welp. Somewhere amidst the chaos of my work, I sort of lost the muse for Eris. So I have (sadly) dropped her and picked up another character in her stead.

This here is Aisha from a little-known comic (and slightly better known movie, though the two bear very little resemblance to one another) called 'The Losers'. She's from post-canon, so there's like to be some spoilers in her general conduct. Also, as a character she is pretty openly disparaging of America/the American way of life, so if that sort of thing isn't your cuppa, please let me know so we can work something out oocly. o/

So hey, Saint here, back with a guy who's kind of totally different from the one I apped the first time! Spidey here's still a bit of a rookie of crime fighting, despite quite a few successes so far in his career.

Also he's 16 and ridiculous, so. There's that.

Anyway, you can hit me up on AIM at SethWynd, or on Plurk as SaintCynicism.

Hello, Turtlefolk! This is Aubrey, with my third character to round out my cast, Agent Olivia Dunham from Fringe.

Olivia is an FBI agent with Fringe Division, a group tasked with investigating weird and inexplicable events - basically, they're hip deep in mad science, and no strangers to this alternate universes thing. Also, she has secret superpowers (that even she doesn't know about at this point) due to being experimented on as a child in a program intended to create supersoldiers, because that's just the kind of thing that happens in her universe. She's coming in from the beginning of the second season, and is technically dead on her arrival in Tu Shanshu. 8D

As always, I am available at [plurk.com profile] mortalcity if you need me for any reason, or... just want to add me.

HELLO, PEOPLE! I'm Heather, and I am ZOMG BRAND NEW here (but I know a pile of you already—HI GUYS).

And I am very excited (hi, understatement of the year), because coming with me is everyone's favorite dead S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Phil Coulson. AHAHAHA IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT HURTS

But yeah, Phil is from Avengers canon and is very much technically dead.

Anyway, you guys can find me on Plurk (preferred) as [plurk.com profile] heatherberry or on AIM as thefirstnotes.

And here's a note for my new canonmates, because I know there are A LOT of you: I have a post up in Phil's journal for the purposes of preventing me from having an aneurysm while tagging y'all. It's basically a canon permissions sort of thing—what Phil knows about your character, what he doesn't, what bits and pieces he might be aware of. This is partly because I know some MCU players also use a bit of comics canon, and I know we're all from different canon points, and I don't want to step on any toes or assume things. It's totally optional, of course, but I think it would help me out in the long run. If you just want to toss links at me, that's fine. Thank you in advance. ♥

Month two of Tu Shanshu's IC gameplay is coming to an end and, wow. Time flies when we're having fun and, based on the comm stats, we're going out on a limb here to conclude that things have been fun.

To celebrate our second month, here's a little statistics compilation of what's been going on!

Membership:
We have 67 characters played by 44 different players, with the roster spread varying from one to four per player. This is spectacular and exceeds the initial estimate and hopes we had when we launched. You guys have been amazing at making Turtletopia a total success!

OOC Community:
There are 132 entries on the OOC comm (133 with this one) and a total of 5,028 comments posted. This works out to an average of 38 comments per entry or 75 comments per character!

Console Community:
Here, there are 93 entries and 10,819 comments (give or take some tagging that's happened in the past hour). That's an awesome 116 comments per entry or 161 comments per character.

Logs Community:
Finally, our beautiful logs community has 64 entries and 4,091 comments -- working out to an average of 64 comments per entry or 61 comments per character.

While we've lost a few characters and members along the way, all of whom we miss, things have been moving ahead steadily and we (the mods) want to than you (the players) for being instrumental in getting Tu Shanshu up and running in terms of IC gameplay.

Plot Direction:
In addition to the stats up yonder, this is also a Let's Talk Plot type post! You guys have all been great so far, and you've rolled with every punch we've thrown at you, but we're looking to make this a fun and enjoyable environment for everyone, and that includes checking to see if we're all on the same page regarding plot. Tu Shanshu is a largely collaborative effort, and everyone's opinion is equally important, new and old players alike.

So... essentially, if you have any metaplot suggestions, make 'em here. Be outlandish as you want! 'Giant Turtle collides with Kraken, news at eleven!' Or perhaps you want to see someone try to assassinate the Emperor? Would you like to have characters shake up the political or economical structure of Keeliai? This is the post to bring any such ideas forward. Mostly this is just to get a gauge of where people would like to see the metaplot go, and how they'd like to see it develop. Don't be afraid to suggest things that are dependent on characters rather than the environment or NPCs, either! This can be a good place to hash out any player plot ideas you might have but want to discuss or think about, too.

Please note, Tu Shanshu doesn't at this time support 'slice of life' plots, like sex swaps or age up/age down style events.

This is also a reminder: For the entire month of November, Tu Vishan is making landfall! What wonders may come of this, you ask? Well, what sorts of things would you like to see?
