Dorian Gray

Warning for everything. Just, everything. Violence, weird consent issues, suicide, gore, vore, possession, murder. Every kind of horrible crap.

So let's take a magical mystery tour down why Dorian's an antihero.

Bad parts of his life: hearing note of Sibyl Vane's suicide and Harry talking him out of feeling guilt about it; murdering Basil Hallward with a knife in front of that ugly portrait; demonic wallpaper making him remember every awful thing he ever did; being forced to murder his lover Spencer Price to save Spence from possession; walking through the fires of the Blitz to get the ghosts of people he screwed over out of his head; murdering his sister on her request; standing back and watching a crowd literally eat a performer alive, as Dorian had planned; holding Toby as Toby turned to ash whle the sun rose; standing on a rooftop listening to demonic voices tell him to kill himself; Steve Rogers ripping Dorian's rib from his stomach.

Fears: People stealing his portrait and using it against him, demonic things screwing with him, having to witness the people he loves dying, having to kill the people he loves personally, the thing that possessed Spencer coming to collect its debt, going to Hell, that he hasn't actually experienced the worst of life yet, that he has experienced all there is to experience of life, the ghosts of his pasts coming to get revenge on him, and the possibility that one day he won't even care that the ghosts of his past want to get revenge.

Established CR very welcome, new CR also welcomed! As a note, Dorian's at an age where he tends to get numb to fear so he will handle all of this reasonably well, given that it's a horrific adventure in all the shit he's been through. But he's been there, done that, got the perfect memory. Anything it can do, he can remember better, etc.
