Tu Vishan, she says, is but one of a clan -- the last that lives. He is a source of life and great power, for only the touch of a god could animate such a great creation. This gift of life that he has spreads from him like an aura, granting those upon his shell an existence that would be denied if they sought the same upon the backs of the dead husks that are his brethren. It is, then, that their lives and powers are tied to Tu Vishan, but if she seeks something more than that? She must ask it of the turtle itself when it does not decay the way it has been. To ask now would be to deplete it and cause pain to them all. However, should she return with some small pittance once Tu Vishan -- should Tu Vishan -- regain its strength, then Zihl might be able to help her gain what she seeks of power. The cost, beyond that a moderate juulan figure, would be that it could never be used against the turtle or those powered by it.
