Kal adored Dick back at home when Bruce picked him up- even though he was strongly against the idea at first and Bruce and him butted head over it quite a lot. In the end he accepted it was what Dick wanted and in the end Dick grew up to be quite a capable man that was able to go against Superman himself so he guesses Bruce’s methods work.

But now he comes to the turtle to find he has to go through seeing Dick grow up all over again. On one hand he’s happy with it, he liked spending time with the tiny robin when he was younger. On the other hand now Dick has to go through a lot of things all over again and it saddens Clark to think about it. It made him stronger the first time yes but it doesn’t excuse some of the things had to do and see.

So Clark is pretty much determined to give him a happy childhood this time. So far with all the events he isn’t doing so well :T
