sorry that's a lot of teal deer

Overall, Ivy is pretty divided on how she feels about the Hulk. On one hand he was pretty decent, but on the other she recognizes that she has positive feelings about him and that makes her want to keep her distance.

When they were fighting together he was fairly reasonable about understanding her and working with her, and that's something she appreciates. Even though she's rolling in power I'm assuming that a lot of adults in her world don't understand her capabilities, even if they know it, and so she gets respect simply based on the fact that she's the Archive, not because she's actually a badass. So the fact that he accepted her as being sort of equal in power pleased her. And then he helped her get back to her house, even though he got hurt along the way, and that just made her happy. Ivy isn't used to people doing nice things for her because she keeps people at arms length and they are usually more than happy to keep that distance. On top of that, fighting alongside him reminded her of fighting alongside Kincaid, her guardian and closest thing to family, and she misses Kincaid desperately. So that sense of familiarity adds to her positive feelings toward the Hulk.

However she is on full alert "should not be having feelings!!!" mode and is pushing back a lot. There's a sort of knowledge of generally accepted guidelines that are passed down with The Archive, and one of them is not being close to people so as not to burden the future generations with all your feelings and experiences. On top of that, the last time she got friendly with someone and acted out of friendship (rather than the optimal way for keeping herself safe as The Archive desires) she ended up captured and mentally tortured by fallen angels (she was also 11 at the time). So her associations with friendship are fantastic (she got a nickname and to pet a kitty!) but they're also terrible.

Right now her coping methods with the world are sinking about as fast as the Titanic, and her feelings toward the Hulk are part of the proverbial iceberg that's causing the problem. It'll take her a while to reconcile her positive feelings with her "woah we need to back off" feelings, and for now she's still clinging tight to her "woah we need to back off" feelings. So she likes him, but she is not in a place where she can show it, though if push comes to shove she might act on it.

AS FOR BRUCE she's actively interested in meeting him. She's hoping that if she can interact with him in a purely business/science way that it can somehow help her ignore the nice feelings she has. There's another small part of her brain going "you're in denial, that isn't going to help" but she's really at a loss for what else to do (see: failing coping methods). It's rare for her to have feelings that aren't passive (sort of an "oh okay you exist and here is my general outlook toward you but it's not really a Thing") so she'll actually pay attention to him as a person rather than just his actions. She knows about him from her ability (Dresden-verse is up on its comic knowledge, plus the things he's written since she's arrived) but she's waiting until she meets him to pass a judgement on him.
