Hello, chelonauts! This is just what it says on the tin, Tu Shanshu's fourth CR meme! When plotting out any CR potential, please be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should go for coffee next week' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

While there are no mod-run events currently planned for December 2012, there will be a player-run Midwinter Masquerade for which a separate plotting post will go up. However! If you want to consider some preliminary CR opportunities for it? Have at thee!

December Event

Midwinter Masquerade

So, just to give you guys a bit of a heads up, Favrielle is going to be planning to hold a traditional D'Angeline event toward the end of December.

The basic gist of the event is that it's like a New Year's Eve fancy masquerade ball with a pageant. D'Angelines drink and say good bye to winter and usher in the new year. Dress is super formal costumes, booze flows freely, there's generally dancing, revelry, etc.

The finer details about how this event is going to work is still up in the air as I'm in the planning process now, however I will give you all a heads up that the pageant will call for at least two participants. Traditionally there is the role of the Winter Queen and the Sun Prince, and those roles are considered a Big Deal. It's thought that luck would go to the House of whomever played the Sun Prince, etc. Favrielle will be picking who will play who but I'll definitely be asking for volunteers as the time gets closer.

Meanwhile, if anyone has any questions they're welcome to ask them here, or offer any comments, suggestions, requests, etc.

So...it was brought to my attention the possibility that certain elements of this event could potentially carry a mature rating (or not. I don't know). In which case, I was wondering what the options for the youngin's on the Turtle were. Would they still be allowed to attend, and if not, would there be a Junior equivalent event for them so that they don't have to miss out on all the fun?

PERSONALITY: Canonly a sassy, work-oriented seamstress with a noticeable scar on her face that she has some lingering baggage about. Warms up more easily to people who are obviously well-educated or well-spoken, not given to flights of frivolousness.

CHARACTER: Yelena
CANON: The Study Series
PERSONALITY: 19 year old convicted murderer and poison taster from fantasy territory Ixia. Tends to alternate between being paranoid and cautious to jumping into trouble feet first. Has a habit of getting caught up in things whether she likes it or not. Opens up more with closer acquaintance. History is a giant trigger warning for torture/abuse and sexual assault.

SCENE-DOS: Generally speaking I'm open to all kinds of CR. Scenes that expose my characters to modern tech is awesome since they're both from fantasy worlds. Socializing type scenarios are great. Shippy/flirty stuff is excellent. Friendships and work related stuff also fab. Also people who want Favrielle to make things can always make requests here OOCly!

SCENE-DON'TS: Time sensitive scenes aren't a great idea probably. Will probably be a bit burnt out on anything angsty for a while as Yelena has been going through a lot of that lately. I don't mind backtagging but after a few weeks my attention can drift unless the scene is going somewhere specifically. :<

CANON: DC Comics
PERSONALITY: Former Batman Rogue from a long time back, Catman now walks the line somewhere between good and evil. He wants to redeem himself for an ill-led life, but is too prideful and broken to do it effectively. Especially since he believes violence is usually the best solution to dealing with a problem, and tends to dislike the self-righteousness that afflicts many "heroes".

SCENE-DOS: I can write anything and everything. Doesn't matter to me.

SCENE-DON'TS: See above.

ADDITIONAL: Naturally, any CR with Bat-family would be especially appreciated, given the history.

CHARACTER: Zatanna Zatara
CANON: Young Justice (DC Animated)

PERSONALITY: Zatanna is young, fun-loving, flirty, and adventurous, with a rebellious streak and outwardly confident presence. She often puts up an innocent front at first, only to say and do things that instantly destroy said front as casually as possible. Though she has her priorities in order, her usual tone is a mixture of nonchalant and sassy, and she can never resist a good joke or quip in return. The most important thing to know about her right now is that, while she is incredibly skilled in magic (so long as her powers aren't nerfed at the time), she is also still fairly new both to the world of crime-fighting and, at her canon point, was not yet officially a member of the Team; this could lead her to occasionally make the wrong decision (such as venturing out onto the mainland for a few hours alone), if for seemingly the right reasons. Usually.

SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything and everything. What makes Zatanna relatively easy to play is that she's a very social character, and what makes things so interesting is the DC multiverse shenanigans with all kinds of awkward things that have yet to be discovered. Though that's not to say cross-canon CR isn't welcome! I'm also incredibly flexible when it comes to tags, and will mirror whatever style the one before me is established. Prose or Action Spam. 's all good. Network or Face-to-Face, depending upon the scenario being played. All of the above when it comes to scenes.

SCENE-DON'TS: I suppose the only major thing I would hesitate on is anything that would be considered age-inappropriate. Zatanna is only 14 in the YJ universe--a mature, knowledgeable 14 in many areas, but still 14. The line can get a little blurry at that age, and I would never take offense if the occasional wtf comment were made in passing...so long as it wasn't made into a regular topic of conversation. Because--even moreso than DC shenanigans--awkward.

CHARACTER: Bruce Wayne
CANON: DCU
PERSONALITY: He has several. Bruce has been jetsetting about as Bruce Wayne: (the last of the) famous international playboy. But he also does his turn as Batman/vengeance/night. Recently he's been showing up as a naturalized version of Matches Malone, who's a bit of a sleezebag gangster. Also his first persona, and the one he intends to pin Batman on if it's ever brought up, is Devin Craig, a kindly anthrological professor from ye old England.

But under all those identities, Bruce is a severely screwed up, damaged individual who's categorically incapable of letting go of his past traumas. Whoops. He's also a genius in permanent 'god mode'. Because Batman.
SCENE-DOS: Bruce has his plate full of familial CR at the moment - nearly his entire extended family is here. That said, as someone who's completely lineface on the idea of friendship I do love it when he sort of accidentally befriends people, no matter the guise he's in. I'd also like some negative CR? Not necessarily Rogue Gallery material but just situations where characters who don't like each other are forced to interact.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm not really angling for romance with him, and I'm not a big fan of revealing his secret identity (though I don't mind building up to it if the CR is right). Slice-of-life stuff is fine but I do prefer my scenes to have some sort of point.
ADDITIONAL: I love backtagging and am usually a fair hand at it, but if you're ever waiting too long on a tag and you're worried about losing interest in a thread please let me know? Bruce can be a difficult character to write (except when he isn't) and sometimes his replies take extra brainpower, which can lead to threads feeling 'dropped' when really it just takes me a week to get the right mindset to write this surly SOB. But I absolutely welcome people coming to discuss threads/tags with me and I don't mind trying to adapt to other people's speeds or preferences.


CHARACTER: Aisha al-Fadhil
CANON: The Losers
PERSONALITY: She's a vitriolic, extremely high-trained war vet who hates pretty much everyone but is particularly intolerant of Americans and men. Suffice to say, Captain America and Superman are both on her shitlist. She's also extremely violent and won't hesitate to go for the throat (it wouldn't surprise me if she did so literally) if someone pisses her off, because she considers herself to be 'dead' and that's made her a little more reckless than normal.
SCENE-DOS: I love doing opposing viewpoints with her because even when she's wrong she'll argue stubbornly into the ground. Positive CR is a little difficult to foster because she's... well. All of the above. But she's protective(ish) of women and gets along... decently with naive idealist guys (mostly because she likes grinding them down) and soldier-types. She's been in war since she was six years old so yeah.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm not really interested in doing happy fluffy things with her, or romance at all. (Although she's the sort of character to throw down for casual sex) Aisha doesn't put up with excessive small-talk unless she's getting information out of it. Basically: every scene with her needs some sort of point, and her conversations tend to be short and to it.
ADDITIONAL: She's extremely anti-American which I understand can put people off, so just lmk if you'd rather me not tag you with her? Because she's from a 'real world' Afghanistan around the year 2003 and was involved with the Taliban (spying on them for America but still) elements of her character/backstory can be unsettling for some people.


CHARACTER: Asami Sato
CANON: Legend of Korra
PERSONALITY: Asami is sweet and thoughtful and a little spoiled, but she tries hard to be a decent person.
SCENE-DOS: I'm a little out of my element with Asami's character and I think it probably shows - I know that the way I write her doesn't have the same 'spark' as when I write my other characters. I find I enjoy her the most when she gets to actually be angry or petty or exhibiting some emotion other than sweetness and light, so anything that puts her in those sorts of scenes would be awesome?
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't mind cute flirting but I really don't want to write any romance with her. I'd like her to just be able to form bonds with people and grow a little bit. Despite her developments in LoK, there's a lot about her that's still a little naive and sheltered and spoiled and she doesn't even realize it, so. Yeah.
ADDITIONAL: Asami is probably the hardest character I write at the moment, so sometimes my tags are a little lack-lustre. Please bear with that? I'm trying to wrap my head around a character type I've never written before and am definitely having mixed results.


CHARACTER: Brandon Sharpe
CANON: Marvel 616
PERSONALITY: Brandon is a bratty overconfident occasionally charismatic douchebag whose bark is definitely worse than his bite.
SCENE-DOS: I find great delight in putting Brandon in situations where he's dead wrong about someone and like a yappy little purse dog he will persist in his wrongness out of sheer stubbornness. He currently thinks Clark Kent is a douchebag and the Doctor is a supervillain. Yep. But Brandon bounces great off any dynamic character and he's probably the easiest character I have to just throw at people until something sticks. Basically he needs friends who are decent people because he's been surrounded by assholes most of his life and though Brandon isn't an inherently bad person he's kind of been made to believe he is so. Friend!CR where he can actually feel like a decent person would be great.
SCENE-DON'TS: Brandon does a lot of heavy, serious threads (mostly with Steph Brown) and I'd like to try and avoid that for a while? He's early from his canon (Avengers Academy) and he's trying to sort out a lot of things at once and if I do many more 'FEELINGS!!!' type threads with him I'm going to burn out.
ADDITIONAL: Brandon has some pretty triggery elements in his past, linked in his journal. I like giving people a head's up so they know what they might be getting into with him.

PERSONALITY: Taciturn, manipulative, ethics gradient bad guy of your worst Saturday morning block nightmares. A quasi-Communist/partisan revolutionary from what can be best described as Mainland China during the Zhang Qin dynasty that up and turned into the steam punky cum Roaring 20s and 30s in the span of a few decades. Massive chip on his shoulder, this one; he's perfectly capable of socializing with others but he almost always falls back on his habits of being A FUCKING TERRORIST.
Rumours of fondness for blonds with impossibly incorruptible moral cores are outright fabrications.
SCENE-DOS: Amon just needs to get over his massive issues with people and get out of the house. Find some sort of outlet that doesn't involve putting on a mask and running through the city streets at night where nobody wants him (Batman...)
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing comes to mind other than I don't really see him in more slice-of-life/mindless fluff situations that his oppressively goodguy roommates already put him through.

CHARACTER: Miranda Lawson
CANON: Mass Effect
PERSONALITY: Generally unapproachable Ice Queen that thinks the sky is the limit, and ethics are merely a guideline cum friendly suggestion. Works for Wayne Enterprises at present time and is a strong independent clone that don't need no man.
SCENE-DOS: Anything not slice-of-life/mindless fluff situations.

CHARACTER: Agent Carolina
CANON: Red vs Blue
PERSONALITY: Carolina is currently in an in-between phase of her life. With Bad Things Related to Her Past finally being settled, she's got the mindset of wanting to move forward, but that's not going to be easy for her. So, right now, she's a bit of a mix, personality-wise. She doesn't like small talk and boring conversations, but she's trying to regain some of those social skills that she just dropped off a cliff in Season 10. Conversations will be extremely short if one of her buttons are hit. These buttons include mentioning Texas, mentioning family, trying to tell her she's good enough/better, trying to comfort her, asking if she's alright, things that she feels second-guess her abilities. At times she can be a Type A Asshole (read: most times), but she's trying to steer herself away from that because she's trying to re-build her life and that involves other people. People who are openly friendly to her might be met with some paranoia, but not answering that paranoia with hate is the best way to get on her good side (which is asking a lot lmfao). More likely than not, she goes solo in pretty much everything and the biggest chance for CR, I think, is her meeting people randomly.
SCENE-DOS: Carolina's not the type to use the network much, so most of her interactions will likely be action/log. She's likely to rub people the wrong way, so I'm very cool with negative CR. She's a badass fighter, so if someone needs saving and she's close by, she'll likely step in. Flirty things are cool, small talk that forces her to talk about Things is cool, pretty much everything under the sun is cool. I'd love for her to work more on herself and start making some progress.
SCENE-DON'TS: Drinking/Drugs? Carolina's just not likely to indulge in either. I'm oocly cool with it, but Carolina is not going to put anything in her body that could affect her physical prowess.

PERSONALITY: Outgoing, determined, ladies' man, and a little sharp, Bucky's an orphan from Brooklyn who grew up with the man who was to become Captain America, became a soldier (and part of a special team) during WWII, and then... fell off a train. He's also been around since August, and he's working hard on bridging up the information gap.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything. Teach a 1940s soldier about modern things - and attitudes - sure. Those who are further behind learning from him or alongside? Sure. Spoiler him for what's to come... yep. Slice of life, action, romance, fighting, sadtimes, humor, positive CR, not-so-positive... You name it. I'll likely do it. Both action and prose are also absolutely fine.
SCENE-DON'TS: I am not overly fond of angst for angst's sake.

CHARACTER: Damian Wayne
CANON: DC Universe
PERSONALITY: Eleven year old who was trained an assassin and raised to rule the world until he was ten. Not nice, but has been growing into mostly decent, and has a soft spot for children. And he's taken up his father's mission of protecting those who need protection well enough to heart. (Also very good at fighting and strategy and languages and music and art and decent-ish in detective work and tactics.) He may, on occasion, be a walking, talking trigger for child abuse.
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything, again. Teaching Damian lessons (they don't have to be taught nicely either) is always a go, but far from limited to that. Seeking out/figuring clues about the situation, adventures, just about anything. (He's unlikely to subject easily to fluff, but it might be interesting.)
SCENE-DON'TS: Again with the less fond of angst for angst's sake. (Some angst, for both boys, is A-OK! Just not delving into it.) Also, with Damian? No 'ships. Romance is highly unlikely anyway, but. You know. He's eleven.

PERSONALITY: Extremely good-natured and generally cheerful half-human, half-fish-person who somehow speaks and acts like an American teenager despite having been raised in an isolationist, tradition-bound underwater kingdom. Don't ask questions, son, this is Marvel. Traumatized for Comic Book Reasons, but hiding it. Will not compress into a ball of angry, bitter anti-hero regardless, because she's just not like that.
SCENE-DOS: I prefer action spam, and I'm really looking to expand CR outside of the Marvel/comics casts. She is available for hanging out, rescues, ill-advised adventures, shopping, being the voice of reason for adolescents and/or testosterone-poisoned heroes, and hauling Amon away by the scruff of his neck like a sulky cat.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm terribly slow at prose--slower than I am in general--and I dislike negative CR that has no chance of at least being rehabilitated into "ambivalent" territory.
ADDITIONAL: I'm not at home; I have no gifs. :(

PERSONALITY: Precocious thirteen- (almost fourteen!) year-old hacker, vigilante, ward of (no longer) billionaire Bruce Wayne. He's very friendly and outgoing but has a strong sense of JUSTICE.
SCENE-DOS: I mostly want ALL OF THE CROSS-CANON CR. Positive, negative, ambivalent. Anything where Dick can actually show off his smarts would be lovely (even if I'd have to relearn math. I swear I was a mathelete once! for a week uhh).
SCENE-DON'TS: The only big no is that he can't be seriously hurt. Since he's so tied to the DC cast, it'd mess them up too.
ADDITIONAL: He's working at a restaurant in the Fire Sector and is also involved with the local newspaper! He patrols around the city at night as Robin, occasionally alone.

PERSONALITY: 16 year old, energetic speedster with a bit of a flirtatious streak. He’s big on science and very skeptical of all things supernatural (mainly stuff involving spirits and magic; he can explain away things like vampires and werewolves with “genetic mutations” and what not).
SCENE-DOS: NGL, I’m open to a lot of things. I guess if I had anything I’d really want to get Wally involved in, it’d be angsty stuff. I have no problem with him being injured/maimed somehow/etc. I’m okay with working out some kind of a plot where he gets into a relationship (though this might take more convincing on the muse’s part, since the canon point he was pulled from was just before he was about to kiss Artemis). That stuff doesn’t have to be serious, though (like I’ve said, he’s a flirt).
SCENE-DON'TS: I can’t really seem to think of anything I’d say “no” to, right at the moment? Pretty much, just ask and throw an idea at me, and if I don’t think it’d work, I’ll say so with no hard feelings.
ADDITIONAL: He’s currently working with an herbalist in the Fire Sector; he lives in the Wood Sector (with a lab in his suite), oh, and he’s involved with the newspaper.

SCENE-DOS: I love writing action and fighting scenes, but beyond that really, I'm open to just about anything! She's pretty proactive and investigative, so she's all over the place. Give me both positive and negative CR I love both.
SCENE-DON'TS: There's very little I probably wouldn't do! No romance tho. Flirting is ok but she's not single so /kanyeshrug

CHARACTER: Peggy Carter
CANON: MCU
PERSONALITY: Badass spy and soldier from the Second World War and also MISANDRY . She's more likely to be friendly towards women and she is full of class and charm. Technically lives in Earth but is staying in Fire rn while her suite is being rebuilt from the... fire.
SCENE-DOS: She's getting herself involved with the council plot! So things related to that?? I'd kind of like to do actiony sort of things with her, too, since that's something I haven't gotten to write out much. But otherwise, nearly anything goes! Positive or negative CR is also go here.
SCENE-DON'TS: Same as above, down to the no romance.

CHARACTER: Hellboy
CANON: Hellboy (comics)

PERSONALITY: Giant red half-demon from Hell that spent his life living as a human, protecting the world from monsters a lot like him. He's spent most of his life traveling the world, working for the BPRD, and has come to be known as the World's Greatest Paranormal Investigator. Not too long ago he quit the Bureau to look into his origins, which only came to bite him in the ass, so he's been pretty sullen ever since. He's gruff but well-meaning, has a sense of humor drier than the Sahara, and tries his damndest to be one of the good guys.

SCENE-DOS: I am always looking for opportunities to get Hellboy involved in the paranormal happenings in-game. It's my favorite aspect of Tu Shanshu so far, and I'm more than happy to include anyone in his travails. Beating up monsters is what he does, and getting people involved with that makes it even better. He spends a lot of time wandering Keeliai and the surrounding area, and also spends a good chunk of time visiting the local bars. During Landfall he'll be spending a lot of time on the mainland as well.

SCENE-DON'TS: I'm good with pretty much anything, but I do try to avoid too much idle chit-chat. Hellboy's not much of a conversationalist.

Additional: Due to my crazy job eating all my brainpower, and Hellboy being such a complicated character, I tend to avoid tagging Sunday-Wednesday. But I love to backtag forever, so hopefully no one feels like I've just dropped a thread! I try to get everything caught up by Thursday and try to make up for lost time on Fridays and Saturdays.

OK SO HE'S NICE and sweet and he likes to get his nose all up in everybody's business. If you want someone to try to help your character you should totally poke me because he's your guy.

He's also willing to do anything people might need like rebuilding stuff or carrying things around whenever it's needed, or just using his powers to help out really. Ever since he got here he hasn't had as much of a hero job as he did back at home, so he's kind of missing doing that and he'll take any chance.

SCENE-DOS: Pretty much what I said above: he wants to help! That he manages or not to do is another matter altogether. I'm also up for negative CR so if your character would be super annoyed at someone like Kal feel free to poke me too!
SCENE-DON'TS: No...thing that I can think of :0

PERSONALITY: Abrasive, means well (usually), ethical, determined, reckless, insatiably curious, passionate, the best investigative reporter in forever (as she will tell you herself, and sadly it's approximately true). Oh, also she's married to some unimportant guy named Clark Kent.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything, really. Investigativey plots would be especially good and fun. Positive and negative and neutral CR all welcome. Canonically she does a lot of accidentally present for major showdown something--and a lot of "ahah the big story is there FOLLOW IT NAOW!" Anything like that (and requiring help or her getting herself out of trouble are bonus) is awesome with her.
SCENE-DON'TS: No killing or serious injury. If for some reason you really, really want to, talk to me. The latter is more out of going "eep" at the likely repercussions than anything. It's Lois, she brings super-baggage.

CHARACTER: Gaius Septimus
CANON: Codex Alera
PERSONALITY: Arrogant, impatient, short-tempered, compassionate, intelligent, generous, fearless, overly confident, bordering on but not quite entitled, strong sense of justice, compulsive fixer, driven beyond belief when given a focus, coldly pragmatic when the situation demands it, passionate. He can do political intrigue but dislikes it (especially now), and he has a major case of PTSD he's trying to ignore. Oh, and he's a serious magical powerhouse.
SCENE-DOS: Most things I'm good with--slice of life is okay with him, as he's needing to learn to even deal with that, considering he died. Positive CR is definitely wanted, negative so long as it isn't too intense (yet). Flirting's just fine--he's pretty and he knows how to return a serve. What would be really fun would be for him to be trying to avoid politics (he is) and accidentally falling into it despite his best intentions. In general, unintentionally ending up in a Major (non-traumatic) Thing when he'd been looking for a little quiet would be fun.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm trying to avoid Majorly Triggery Events. He can talk about other people's pasts and problems just fine. But triggery events are not on the table for now. Also, while flirting is (as mentioned) fine, romance and moving past either courtly or banter-based flirtation is decidedly off the table. Making a pass is fine, but he's going to draw the line himself, so be aware of that if you'd like to go there.

PERSONALITY: Bluh bluh political douchebag, huge glory hog with superiority complex and all that good stuff. But now he knows that his long-lost brother is an AWFUL TERRORIST so he's having some angst issues about that too, along with his generally awful childhood that he's been trying to forget.
SCENE-DOS: BASICALLY ANYTHING. He could use some...well, positive CR is kind of difficult when he's such a private person, but...neutral kind-of alright CR I guess?

CANON: Slayers
PERSONALITY: Powerful teenage sorceress with a hair-trigger temper. She's got a bit of a Napoleon complex and her two favorite things in life are food and money.
SCENE-DOS: Almost anything goes with Lina! She's keenly interested in magic and, to a lesser extent, other technologies, so any obscure knowledge is sure to entice her. I'd like for her to make more friends as well as enemies/people she doesn't get along with, and I am also open to anyone pursuing her romantically or flirting with her to hilarious ends. Fighty times are also great! But p much anything goes, so if you have an idea, toss it at me! I am thinking about possibly doing something with her involving Tu Vishan's gangs in the future, too.
SCENE-DON'TS: I have a hard time with aimless scenes where I don't have a vague idea of where it's going, but pretty much anything you can at least ask about.

CHARACTER: Mandorallen
CANON: The Belgariad
PERSONALITY: Brave, honor-bound, frighteningly competent knight with an almost complete lack of common sense typical of his people. He's so concerned with nobility it's practically a handicap. He isn't terribly bright or imaginative, but he is very earnest and painfully honest. He now has a horse.
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything goes! I'm really loving the way certain characters have been broadening (or trying to) his horizons, and I'd be down for more of that. I'd love for him to make more friends as well as enemies/people who can't stand him, and I think it'd be fun if he had some negative CR that led to some personal violence. I'd also like it if he made friends with more dudes, preferably around his age, because right now most of his CR is with various ladies and that's awesome, but I'd really like Mandorallen to bro it up with some guys at some point :D He needs some buddies.
SCENE-DON'TS: As said above, the only thing I really don't like to do is aimless scenes without some sort of character/action goal in mind. Other than that I'm pretty much game for anything!

Would Mandorallen like to make friends with royalty around his age? Not that Sep would mention that part, and he'd probably spend some time wanting to bash Mandorallen's head against a rock, but he can spar and understands courtly manners.

And given that it needs a reason, maybe some time when Lois needs a hand out of a Situation Mandorallen could be there. I just find the idea of him keeping her getting stuck with something pointy and then her doing the leading hilarious.

And I'd love something with Lina, I just don't know her well enough to know what.

PERSONALITY: One (1) teenage vigilante who has a habit of steamrolling her way into people's lives and adopting them. Generally pretty easy going and friendly but isn't afraid to punch people in the face if they deserve it.

SCENE-DOS: I'm okay with any format, though I need to get her doing more log stuff, I've been a bit slack and focused on network because it's easier. I feel like she needs more superheroy things to do although that may be addressed below.

PERSONALITY: Lmao well she WAS a space marine and then she found out that the top secret organization she with was up to Bad Things so she stole a bunch of information about what they were doing and betrayed them. She's coming from just after abandoning her team, and since there are a couple of her former teammates on the turtle she's pretty much being super paranoid and doing everything she can to keep them from finding out she's here. She's suspicious, paranoid, and defensive, reluctant to talk to others especially if they start asking about her or her past, and she's always watching everything.

Other than that she's got a great personality. she's really lonely plz be her friend
SCENE-DOS: I like a wide range of scenes! Both negative and positive CR are good - CT isn't bunnies and rainbows but it is sometimes possible to crack her shell with patience and...more patience. She doesn't make network posts often, but she'll sometimes reply to them, and chance meetings in person are a great way to force her into CR.
SCENE-DON'TS: nothing...really? I'd like to discuss things OOC first before anyone discovers her various secret identities (ie that the mysterious figure in armor IS A GIRL!!!) and she's not really great with aimless chitchat unless she gets drawn into it with someone she already knows (Doctor I'm looking at you). As long as you're open to seeing where the scene goes in terms of positive CR OR CT getting annoyed and disconnecting your ass I am too. B)

PERSONALITY: Kind of a jerk who will go out of his way to piss people off and is generally really obnoxious and impatient but actually is really loyal to all his bffs. He's not good at feels but is good with kids and is a massive flirt. Basically like a micro version of Pietro but from New Jersey.
SCENE-DOS: WI'm looking for lots of new CR for Tommy! I'd love for him to get out of his CR bubble and meet new people, and since he's a superhero that might involve rescuing your character? His romance stuff is pretty complicated already right now, so i'd say that he's probably good on that front, but he can always do with more friends and people to bash heads with. He's also is capable of pretty narly prank wars, given the chance. I'm pretty good for negative CR too, and i'd love for him to have some rivalries. BUT YES MORE FRIENDS MAYBE A MENTOR?
SCENE-DON'TS: Slice-of-life is generally not favoured, since I feel like the thread isn't going to go anywhere, but other than that I'm pretty good? As long as we don't break him beyond playing, im pretty good with negative CR and injury. Trying to actively avoid angst right now though.

CANON: Kitty Norville series
PERSONALITY: Kitty is a fairly friendly WEREWOLF who usually ends up in trouble or shenanigans due to an inability to back down from things she shouldn't be sticking her nose into, especially when it's supernatural based.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with action spam and prose, though I would prefer working more with the second since I think I do a better job working her thoughts and such in with that. I still want to get Kitty some more interaction with people because so far I think her CR has been pretty sparse- I definitely want her to be coming out of the werewolf closet either this month or the next, because it'd probably have her open up more; the way I figure it, she's not actively trying to hide it, she's just being cautious (especialy since she vaguely remembers running into people her first full moon here, which is a Serious Thing) since she doesn't have her support system like she does back home.
SCENE-DON'TS: I am pretty much open to anything, except romance for Kitty; she's married back home, and she's definitely missing her husband.


CHARACTER: Lex Luthor
CANON: DCAU- specifically: Superman: The Animated Series
PERSONALITY: Charismatic ruthless egotist genius bastard. He sometimes puts on a magmanious front. Sometimes.
SCENE-DOS: Negative CR! Positive CR! Who the hell does this guy think he is anyways CR! Positive CR that turns into 'holy shit, this guy is an asshole how did I ever think he was alright' CR. What it comes down to is for Lex, I am open to pretty much anything, barring perhaps him getting murdered or mauled. He's working on getting established here, so no doubt an incarnation of LexCorp will be showing up in the near future.
SCENE-DON'TS: The murder of Lex Luthor, at least at this point in time.

ADDITIONAL: As you guys have noticed, I am a bit slow on the tags at times? I'll put time towards them on my days off when I'm not busy or otherwise occupied, and also sometimes during the my evenings after work. If you especially want a 'gogogogogo' on a tag or something though, just poke me, and I'll try to get it sorted out sooner than later.

I'd be very interested in HB running into Kitty sometime. The werewolf thing would definitely be interesting to play around with. And they can both have shenanigans sticking their noses in things they shouldn't. Hellboy wanders around the Turtle a lot, and usually finds his way into some kind of trouble, so maybe they can run into each other that way.

CHARACTER: Rikki Barnes
CANON: Marvel 616
PERSONALITY: Formerly Bucky, Captain America's sidekick and Bucky Barnes' daughter from a parallel universe; created by a six-year-old, killed and recreated by a psychic supervillain, and killed a third time before arriving on Tu Vishan, and she is definitely not having issues working all of that out. Rikki's a badass normal teenage superhero who currently goes by Nomad; she's super friendly, kind of impulsive and eager to help others in any way she can, and desperate to prove herself. Works bussing tables at a diner in the Metal Sector, and patrols by night as Nomad.
SCENE-DOS: Rikki is available for anything and everything. She's pretty chatty on the network, but she's also all over the city - she primarily runs nighttime patrols in the Metal Sector, but she sometimes expands her patrols elsewhere, and she's got friends all over, so if you need to run into her somewhere not Metal, that's easy and doable.
CR with other teenagers is always always welcome, as is teaming up with pretty much anyone for badass shenanigans (rooftop races, parkour lessons, sparring, crimefighting... whatever). There are also a lot of older badass types around here, and if any of them would be willing to take on a very eager pupil, Rikki would be thrilled to learn any fighting styles or skill sets she doesn't already have.

CHARACTER: Natasha Romanoff
CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe
PERSONALITY: The perfect super spy/assassin with a highly questionable past and a desire to make up for it. She is hard to get to know, and cool professionalism is really the best you can expect at least until she's got the measure of you. Debts are important to her, though - do her a favor or help her out somehow, and she will be sure to pay you back, whether or not you'd consider it a debt at all.
SCENE-DOS: Face-to-face interactions are probably best for Natasha, simply because she doesn't tend to speak up on the network unless she sees a direct purpose in it (though if you can think of a network post she'd be interested in, I certainly don't mind throwing her at them). She would almost definitely be open to finding new sparring partners to keep in practice, since she doesn't have a near-infinite number of SHIELD agents to break around here.
Also, a large portion of Natasha's income and activities involve... extralegal methods. The gangs may have gone underground, but she's still involved with them, so if any of your vigilante types want to notice that and track her down, that would be fun. She's also very interested in figuring out the what, how and why of the foreigner's presence here, and might be planning an attempt to sneak into the palace or some other government offices to see what she can find there - anyone up for that sort of thing, assuming the mods approve of it?

CHARACTER: Olivia Dunham
CANON: Fringe
PERSONALITY: FBI agent who specializes in "fringe cases" - which mostly involve mad science and parallel universes, naturally. Deeply empathetic and friendly, stubbornly independent and really really bad at opening up to people or accepting help, a natural (freakishly good) problem-solver and extremely determined when she has a mystery to sink her teeth into. She was injured before her arrival, and that's kind of limiting her ability to figure out what's going on in Tu Vishan, and as a result, she is really restless and extremely frustrated, and dying to find something to do with herself.
SCENE-DOS: All kinds of threads are welcome for Olivia, though network threads may be a bit easier because her mobility's a bit limited atm. Primarily, I'd just like her to make friends - she's been really isolated so far, and I'd like to fix that, so any friendly characters she might bump into on the street would be so very welcome.
I'd also like to start poking at her powers (which are stupidly complicated, so just look at her app if you need info). Not much, just starting to see glimmers, some enhanced hearing, enough to get her worrying about what's going on with her and asking some of the people who're more comfortable with their abilities - or if something scares her badly enough, she could have a telekinetic event, but that would require something major. However, all her powers require an emotional trigger, generally fear; she's dealing with some post-traumatic stress and is generally on-edge, so it wouldn't take much, but her life's quiet enough now that nothing's hitting those triggers hard enough. Anyone have anything going on I could toss her in the middle of to change that? Please?

ADDITIONAL: I'm gonna be away from home for the last week of this month, just for the record - will hopefully still have internet, but best not to plan anything too time sensitive for then.

PERSONALITY: A sarcastic and nosy mage. He is the Champion of Kirkwall and won't let you forget it. He likes to troll people and will make fun of you if you give him an opening (and sometimes if you don't.) Of course this is his way of coping. He's actually got some pretty serious abandonment issues. But like hell if you ever get him to admit it.

CHARACTER: John Hancock
CANON: Hancock (2008 film)
PERSONALITY: An alcoholic superhero. People reject his heroic efforts, mostly because he's an asshole who causes more trouble than he stops. So he's nobody's friend. Hancock has amnesia and is angry at the world because of it.

CHARACTER: James "Logan" Howlett | Wolverine
CANON: X-Men films
PERSONALITY: Logan is a grumpy mutant with a big grudge against his older brother for killing his girlfriend. He adopts teenage girls, so this can be a thing. He doesnt play well with others and holds a grudge like a champion. So it's easy to get on his bad side and even easier to stay there.


SCENE-DOS: Actionspam is the best way to keep my interest up. I can do prose, no problem, but I'm kind of slow about it and my interest will wane if the thread drags on. I like bromances, romances, friendships, enemyships. Just about any kind of relationship you can toss at me, I want. For Hawke, he's getting his dog back. And I'd really really like for him to start making some close friends and people he can consider his turtle fam. Hancock needs help with his people skills. And Logan is going to buy a motorcycle. I kind of want him to be a cage fighter to do it though because regular jobs are boring.

SCENE-DON'TS: Mmm. I don't have many limits. I mean I'll try anything once. Slice-of-life kind of bores me if there's no point to the thread. But other than that, hit me with whatever you've got.
