Belayed? New Years Party
As discussed earlier in the month with a number of people, Sonja is going to be putting together a New Years Party on the 28th of January. Yellow Comet in the Advance Wars universe is a kind of modern Imperial Japan analog, so she'll be aiming to recreate similar traditions to Japanese New Year with varying success. She's tried to contact various merchants in the city to sponsor or run booths for the party, the plan has been as battered by the storm as lots of people's homes have.
All the same, she's trying to see what can be done, and there'll be a celebration of some shape taking place in the Palace Gardens, and anyone is welcome to come! Volunteers welcome, because lord she needs help.
A not-small number of Kedan find the party in bad taste, so she's also trying to see about putting together some kind of charity component for disaster relief.

Penny will definitely help out as a volunteer of sorts (as long as it doesn't really involve being ordered around). He can use his magic to help make fires when it gets dark and/or will help her find sources of alcohol
