This is just a note to anyone who met with Nilin re: This Post. I'm crazy busy irl right now and so threads are moving slow from my end. Sorry for that!
Here's a recap of what she would tell characters that met with her so that things can progress. Back in July (I think? :|a), Nilin and a few others infiltrated the palace under disguise and posed as servants and the like. The mission took over a month to complete and they dug up some pretty handy info on the way.
The two key things Nilin found where a. a ledger with names of Kedanese people, some crossed out, and b. a logbook belonging to Evandau with the following post:
Still unable to communicate with Asti. Four months since Eshai’s death. Concerning. Wonder if Eshai and Asti connected somehow. Must discover how to resolve situation.
That combined with Malicant's Post, specifically the 'hear every plan and feel every footstep' led her to piece together that when Eshai died, Malicant got in and is now in the turtle and from time to time, the network. This is why she went about getting word out as she did.
