+ ONE SIDE-PLOT

Hello guys! Al here, to ask all of you if you’d like to join in a little spontaneous plot that happened thanks to the event. Everything has been talked over with the awesomesauce mods but it is kind of a dark plot, so keep that in mind.

With the statues around, we decided that Superman (Kal) and his father Jor-El will both touch the statue that will turn them in mirror-verse versions of themselves. Which means evil Kryptonians. Evil cold-blooded aliens with a lot of powers in their hands. Yeah, you see how this could get very bad, very fast right? The thing is, they are going to side with the evil dragon and try to destroy and hurt everyone who’s attacking it, to get on its good side. And this is where you enter!

Part 1: Murderville


We thought we’d offer people the chance to get their daily RP-dose of drama with this plot. The two adult Kryptonians are going to kill, hurt, maim, your pick anyone who’s trying to attack the dragon, or close to the dragon or honestly anyone that pisses them off in some way because fuck everything, that’s why.

So our question is: who’d like to be in this group of very lucky people? THIS IS FOR YOUR CHARACTER TO GET HURT, IF WHAT YOU WANT IS FOR YOUR CHARACTER TO TAKE THEM DOWN, GO TO THE SECOND PART.
There are still 7 spots open (sadly we had some spots filled before we realized this was going to get this big) for people to thread with the Kryptonians and get the short end of the stick. Keep in mind the Kryptonians aren’t going to torture them for no reason, unless your character is able to put up a fight the deaths will be quick. ADDENDUM: Zatanna Zatara, also mirrorverse'd, will be helping them out at some point -expecially if we get any magic characters. We'll always ask before though.

Ju and I have decided we’ll thread Jor-El fighting character in 5 threads, Kal 5 more, and the two of them together another 5. So if you sign up tell us if you have any preference and we’ll see what we can do, otherwise it will be random. The Kryptonians will more or less have the same modus operandi when it comes to the deaths. PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY PLOTTED WITH US SHOULD TELL US THEIR PREFERENCES TOO, please and thank you. Otherwise we RNG it up like it’s going out of style.

You can sign up more than one character for people but if we do get a lot of sign-ups we’ll RNG it and try to make sure as many people as possible get to join. Don't be afraid to post for your character. If there aren’t that many sign-ups everyone gets to play.

Part 2: Nothing is louder than an angry Kryptonian

And here is where they take down Kal. Jor-El is getting killed by Kal himself (we love drama and we have exactly 0 regrets) so it’s only one Kryptonian left to face.

I’ll open this up to 5 people because otherwise the thread would be impossible to play out. Once we have the people I’ll poke them to plot out how things will go. Jor-El is cutting one of Kal’s legs (still 0 regrets) so I’d rather him not die because if he dies he would have the leg back in his new body, but if the circumstances really call for it it’s not that much of a big deal.

Any kind of power they can use against Kal?: Magic~ She's able to use it to bind people, and she's considered a fairly powerful magic user in her canon, she she could probably help stop him and restrain him.

Death, simply hurting and tossing them on the side when unconscious, other?: Bart is for maiming, tossing aside, throwing a boulder on, etc. Ric is fair game for killing.
Do you want the thread to be with Kal-El, Jor-El, both, or no preference?: I have no preference for either, although July seemed interested in Bart giving Jor a split lip, so I'd say both? IDEK. He'll be with Kon, if that helps.

Any kind of power they can use against Kal?:
If you would like either in the take down thread, fine by me. Bart has [standard DC superpowers]. Ric can cause earthquakes and generate seismic waves that turn living things into. Well. A gooey mess.

Final note: Connor remains on deck for this, should you prefer him to Ric.

Death, simply hurting and tossing them on the side when unconscious, other?: Runs into them alone, is dismissed as not a threat at all.

As discussed, if there's time, I'd love to work out something with Hayley saying something truthful for one or both of them to remember and ask her about later. But no worries if it's too much.

Any kind of power they can use against Kal?: IF AND ONLY IF YOU NEED SOMETHING TO LIKE, MOMENTARILY KNOCK HIM OFF GUARD FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SWOOP IN, Arthur can call up a quick tidal wave before he passes out/slinks off. But don't feel any need to work him in anywhere if you get enough of a force, he won't be in any shape to do any actual fighting. I'm just putting this out there c:

They won't be able to kill her, but they can destroy her body to the point where she can no longer rebuild herself, and will be either stuck in a small "bug"-like form...or else a certain something she has the ability to do with Kyle, because former Ion host and her being Ion's daughter and all that fun Space Soap Opera stuff~

Also, a housekeeping note to say that Zatanna will also be turning evil and will side with Jor-El and Kal-El for the majority of the fighting. So, on top of being them, they'll also have a deus ex magician hanging in the wings to get their back against any potential magic users who go up against them.

Character: Kotetsu Kaburagi
Any kind of power they can use against Kal?: He has an ability called Hundred Power that he can activate for one minute, which multiplies his strength, speed, endurance, etc. a hundred fold.

He also has a suit similar to Iron Man's which is reinforced, but not indestructible.

Character: Barnaby Brooks Jr. (I don't know if all the slots are full by this point, but he tends to operate as a single unit with Kotetsu if that makes any difference)

Any kind of power they can use against Kal?: Hundred Power. All physical abilities (speed, strength, endurance, stamina, etc.) are 100 times stronger for 5 minutes.

Just making sure I don't missunderstand: Do you want to sign up Barnaby and Kotetsu for the fist part of the plot where they get hurt, the second part where they take down Kal, or both?

Keep in mind that while they can sign up for both, once RNGd if they get a slot in one part of the plot they can't get one for the other (at least for now, while we see if there's interest)

EDIT: Also we're okay with a team up, they can definitely get a thread together.

this is mostly if you need a stronger character to drop by and help since characters that can last longer than a couple of seconds against superman are few

Any kind of power they can use against Kal?: The Scarab is also hilariously godmode, and while there is no way Jaime could ever stop Kal, Khaji Da can simulate Kryptonite and could help hold Kal off. Plus the other Scarab powers. If necessary he could be doing this as a defense rather than an offense, while the characters who actually KNOW how to take down Supes could do that? IDK WHATEVER WORKS BEST.
